2-way stainless steel ball valve for shut-off of inert gases and liquids. The body is made of a three-part screwed body construction with full cylindrical bore. Due to the self-adjusting, multi-part stem seal, the ball valve is maintenance-free. The ball valve is stamped conform to AD approval and has a fire-safe certification and an anti-static device. A TA-Luft approval is in preparation.
The mounting plate according to ISO 5211 enables a direct or distanced mounting of the pneumatic actuators, resulting in an extremely compact and functional unit. Due to the twin-piston system the force developed by the counter-running pistons is transmitted to one common pinion via two tooth racks solidly connected with the pistons. This principle ensures a linear torque transmission along the entire stroke.
Also directly mounted is the solenoid valve. After installation in the pipeline and the connection of control signal and compressed air supply, the unit is immediately ready for use.
The function of this ball valve actuator unit is pneumatically double-acting. The actuator and the solenoid valve are completely assembled in our factory, adjusted and subjected to a functional test before delivery.
For higher temperatures above +80°C please refer to the Pressure-Temperature-Diagram in the data sheet.
The ball valve is available in many variants and designs and can be ordered online in our shop:
For the use of the ball valve in explosive atmospheres according to Directive 2014/34/EU, a special ATEX version is also available.
